Suffern Man Threatens “Armageddon” on Village

A 56-year-old Suffern man threatened “Armageddon” on the village of Suffern Sunday.

Joseph LaDuca is accused of leaving a note threatening violence in the mailbox at a police officer’s home Sunday morning if his property wasn’t returned by 3pm Monday, Police Chief Clarke Osborn said.

Police believe LaDuca is referring to a car that had been towed in early June by a private company for having a suspended registration.  According to reports, LaDuca never went to get his car.

LaDuca was charged with making terroristic threats, aggravated harassment and trespass.  He is being held on $50,000 bail.
